Do I need a passport to go into Canada?

Yes. Children under 18 traveling with their parents need a copy of their birth certificate.


Do the Falls shut down at night?


No. The Falls run 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Can I use American money in Canada?

Yes. Most businesses take US and Canadian dollars. However, it may be a good idea to exchange some money to get the best rate.  When in doubt, use a credit card - your bank does the exchange for you.

Do I need to speak French to visit Niagara Falls, Canada?

No. While Canada recognizes two national languages, the people of Niagara Falls, Ontario predominantly speak English.

No. The Falls are illuminated each night, but fireworks are only conducted on certain dates.
